Rijeka held the General Assembly of the Interreg Italy-Croatia Project Crossfreight – Cross-border ICT Strategies for freight rail and port logistic integration, optimization, sustainability and security, 26. which took place on March 26th and 27th in the premises of the University of Rijeka<\/em>. <\/p>\n The Project Partner Ain, Air, Maritime and Railway Traffic Accident Investigation Agency, organized the event in the captivating Venue of the University Library of Rijeka which hosts the permanent exhibition “The Glagolitic Alphabet”, which showcases the Croatian Glagolitic written and printed heritage.<\/p>\n The two-day event featured the Project Leader Fondazione ITL and Project Partners and Associated Organisation among railway operators, specialized agencies and public and private entities: Adriafer, Ain, Autorit\u00e0 di Sistema Portuale del Mare Adriatico Centro-Settentrionale, Erf, Logoteam, Sangritana, Port of Sibenik Authority and Transagent.<\/p>\n The meeting was a moment of gathering and reflection to agree on development strategies and define future activities in greater detail by focusing on working to new Ict solutions and operational processes, highlighting on the IT systems of Marghera and Ravenna presented during the first day.<\/p>\n During the morning of March 27th there was a moment of cross – fertilization with other projects from the INTERREG Program: Anna Esposito from Autorit\u00e0 di Sistema Portuale del Mare Adriatico Centro-Settentrionale presented the Italy-Croatia Cresport project, focused on the theme of cybersecurity, while Angelo Giordano from Adriafer introduced the Italy-Croatia Transponext project, dedicated to the sustainable growth of modal and intermodal cross-border connections generated by maritime nodes.
