On May 25, 2024, at approximately 15:40 local time, a small aircraft crashed into a forest near Kerestinec shortly after taking off from Lučko Airport.
The aircraft was carrying a pilot and four parachutists who were scheduled to jump from an altitude of 1500 meters.
As a result of the accident, one person tragically lost their life, while four others sustained minor injuries. The aircraft was destroyed.
The AIN investigators began the site inspection on the same day of the accident, and the investigation was completed the following day. A safety investigation is underway, and once concluded, the AIN will release the Final Report on this accident.
