An accident involving a Beechcraft G36 Bonanza aircraft bearing the German registration D-ENTT near Medulin Airport, 4 June 2026

On 4 June 2026, at approximately 11:18 a.m. local time, an accident involving a Beechcraft G36 Bonanza aircraft bearing the German registration D-ENTT occurred near Medulin Airport.

Four citizens of the Republic of Austria were fatally injured in the accident.

The aircraft had departed from Lienz–Nikolsdorf Airport (LOKL) bound for Medulin Airport (LDPM) and crashed approximately 2–3 kilometres southwest of Medulin Airport.

The Aircraft, Maritime and Railway Accident Investigation Agency was immediately notified of the occurrence by the Operational Communications Centre of the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Croatia (OKC MUP) and the Croatian Air Navigation Services.

Immediately upon receiving notification of the occurrence, the Agency’s air accident investigators proceeded to the accident site to conduct an on-site investigation.

In accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) No. 996/2010, the Agency is launching a safety investigation into this accident.

Upon completion of the safety investigation, its results will be made publicly available on the website of the Aircraft, Maritime and Railway Accident Investigation Agency at www.ain.hr in the form of a Final Report on the accident.
