On March 19, 2025, at 08:33 a.m., the company HŽ Infrastruktura d.o.o., Transport Sector, reported a notification about an incident between stations Lekenik and Greda on the line M502-2, where a collision between freight train number 61015 and passenger train number 5104 was avoided at 08:20 a.m.
No one was injured in the incident and no material damage occurred.
Given the circumstances that led to the incident, a decision has been made to initiate a safety investigation of the railway incident in accordance with Article 127, Paragraphs 2 and 3, Point (a) of the Railway Safety and Interoperability Act (“Official Gazette”, No. 63/20) 2. .
