Summary:

On November 15, 2024. On November 15, 2024, at approximately 06:15 pm, the high-speed passenger ship Princ Zadra, en route from the port of Zadar, ran aground on Bračići Reef while approaching the port of Premuda. At the time of the accident, the vessel was carrying 72 passengers, all of whom were rescued thanks to the swift response of Premuda island residents and a coordinated effort by relevant authorities, including the deployment of the ship Vladimir Nazor. The vessel sank the following afternoon at the grounding site.

A safety investigation into this Marine accident has been initiated, and its findings will be publicly released in the form of a final report on the website of the Agency for the Investigation of Accidents in Air, Marine, and Railway Transport.
